While the Covid-19 virus continues around the world, we are trying to return to normal life, but we are all afraid of going into the crowd. Although many restaurants were closed at first due to corona, after a while, everyone kept up with the normalization efforts. Some restaurants leave 1.5 meters of space between the tables, and some restaurants cover the tables in the form of a dome. You can read the blog post about it here.
In Budapest, a very interesting idea was put forward for a socially distant and contactless dinner. Social distance Ferris wheel! He served a four-course meal at Costes Budapest Eye, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Budapest.
Karoly Gerendai said that "The Ferris wheel is ideal with its separate cabins so we can solve the issue of separate seating for guests,” owner of the one-night event. The cabins aren’t heated and guests had to use blankets, but Gerendai is planning on doing it again when it gets warmer out.
Hopefully, when the world is really back to normal and there are no flight bans, I'll revisit Budapest and have a dinner at the Budapest Eye. :)
